2025 Fees & Payment Information:

Times and Dates for Photography Sessions:

 Option 1: The standard price for photography is $50 per family per session.  This is for anyone who is NOT a preferred photographer or if you are wanting to just take pictures of your family. Anyone interested can contact Caroline Wilson at [email protected]

Option 2: Become preferred photographer - our rate for 2025 is $40 per family per session.  In order to receive this discounted rate, the preferred photographer must coordinate appointment and payment details with Cotton Hills Farm, LLC.

To become a preferred photographer at Cotton Hills Farm, LLC, please contact Caroline Wilson at [email protected]. You must meet with us to go over our farm policies. Hours for meetings are Monday - Friday 8AM to Noon. Please contact Caroline when you are ready to set up an appointment to discuss policies. 

No new preferred photographers will be accepted after September 19, 2025.

All Photographers MUST:

1. Send an email to [email protected] with selected date (October only, closed on Sunday) and time from dawn to dusk.  All Mon-Sat dates and times are available unless specified on the website as full.
2.  PAY for your sessions through Venmo. The standard price is $50 per family per session and the preferred price is $40 per family per session. Payment must be submitted BEFORE starting your session.
3.  Drive to the designated field. You will be emailed directions the week of your sessions. 
4.  Make sure all guests do not block farm roads and are respectful to other guests and the farm at all times.  Typically there may be a few others taking photographs while you are here but there is plenty of room to spread out. The most popular times for photography are Friday and Saturday evenings. If you want to avoid other photographers choose a morning time or weekday.

•  Only during the month of October.
• Cotton is typically at peck the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weeks of October.
• CLOSED on SUNDAYS. No exceptions.​

1.​ Do I need an appointment? 
Yes, but it is easy. Email Caroline at

2. When should I plan to book sessions? 
The best times are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weeks of October. Please choose a time that works best for you. November appointments are not available at this time.
3. Will the cotton be completely white? 
It depends. Generally it is very white for the middle and end of October. Occasionally due to excessive rain and heat, the cotton can have regrowth with small green leaves that take away from the totally white look you are likely looking for but it is still an impressive sight. 
4. Can you make an exception for a session on Sunday? 
No, we are closed on Sundays.
5. Will you consider a flat rate for a day, a week, or the season?  How about for mini-sessions? 
​***No, our best price is our preferred rate of $40 per family per session. If you offer a day of mini-sessions you must pay for each mini-session you shoot.***
